Two Keiser lists, read together

Keiser's licensure disclosure marks each state as meeting or not meeting NP licensure requirements, and its Graduate School FAQ keeps a separate restriction list. They name different states, so a state guide shows both and tells you what to confirm with Keiser before you apply.

Questions Keiser students ask

Which states does Keiser restrict for the FNP?

Keiser's two lists differ. The November 2025 disclosure says the FNP does not meet requirements in 13 states, and the Graduate School FAQ restricts a different group of 12 states plus DC. Each state guide shows where that state stands on both.

Do I need a Florida license if I live elsewhere?

Yes. Keiser's catalog asks FNP and WHNP applicants for an active unrestricted Florida RN license along with a license in the state where they plan to do clinicals.

Can New York students enroll?

Keiser's Graduate School FAQ says it can accept New York students, but they cannot do their clinicals in New York and must use a bordering state. See the New York guide.
