A disclosure "no" and an FAQ that says nothing
The disclosure counts New Hampshire among the thirteen states where Keiser's FNP falls short of educational requirements for licensure, which is to say the program, as Keiser describes it, may not carry you to an NP license in New Hampshire. The FAQ restriction list was assembled separately, names its own set of places, and skips New Hampshire. Silence on one list is not a yes; the disclosures guide reads the two together.
Keiser's out-of-state rule is the second checkpoint. FNP and WHNP applicants keep a Florida RN license, active and unrestricted, and add a license for the clinical state, and those outside Florida provide a written statement that the home state accepts the rotations and a later NP license. A "does not meet" rating makes that statement hard to square, so speak with the Graduate School first. The Florida RN license guide covers the rule.
How New Hampshire's board treats schools from elsewhere
New Hampshire aims its out-of-state clinical rule at pre-licensure education. Under Nur 602.15(j), an approved pre-licensure program based outside the state that contracts with New Hampshire facilities must first tell the Board of Nursing it intends to place students, and it files notice six weeks ahead of every placement. The filings: a yearly Form A petition, then for every rotation a Part B placement form, and for every preceptor a Clinical Preceptor Agreement. Visiting faculty who directly supervise those clinicals meet New Hampshire's faculty standards and hold an unencumbered New Hampshire license.
Post-licensure education sits outside that scheme: OPLC, New Hampshire's Office of Professional Licensure and Certification, puts RN-BSN and RN-MSN programs in the category the board leaves unregulated. One wrinkle from research: one published version of Nur 602.15 shows the rule expiring on January 23, 2026, OPLC still cited it that month, and whether it was readopted is unconfirmed.
Nursing practice and health care in New Hampshire
AANP counts New Hampshire among its full-practice states. Since January 2018 the state has honored compact multistate RN licenses from other member states; there is no APRN Compact law. Research found no state incentive program for preceptors.
Larger systems include Dartmouth Health, parent of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, along with Catholic Medical Center, Elliot Health System, Concord Hospital Health System and Southern New Hampshire Health. SolutionHealth, formed by Elliot and Southern New Hampshire Health, was proposed for dissolution by their boards in July 2025. People cluster in Manchester-Nashua, the Concord area and the state's share of the Boston metro, and public health falls to the state's Department of Health and Human Services. These are examples of the setting, not Keiser partners.
The Keiser programs to ask about
The DNP is the likeliest conversation. It confers no license, Keiser publishes no disclosure for it, admission asks for an RN license where you live, and New Hampshire is missing from the FAQ list that names the doctorate. Confirm your eligibility with the Graduate School before applying.
Keiser's RN to BSN runs online in 4-week terms, one course at a time, and asks for an RN license from your home state. Its NUR4636 clinical is 45 hours with a preceptor you secure, and New Hampshire's board lists RN-BSN programs outside its oversight. Check eligibility with Keiser first.
Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts all read "meets" on the disclosure and stay off the FAQ list. Keiser ties eligibility to your home state, so they matter mainly if you relocate; see Maine and Vermont.
