Keiser's FastTrack BSN: the nursing major in four accelerated semesters
Keiser's FastTrack BSN is for students who already carry a solid block of college credit and want the nursing major in an accelerated four-semester format; most finish in 16 months. Admission looks at recent credits and completed general education rather than a finished bachelor's, which is the main line between FastTrack and the Accelerated BSN. Who FastTrack is for
FastTrack sits between Keiser's other two BSN routes. It fits a student who has already completed a good run of college coursework, perhaps toward another major or at a state college, and now wants to move into nursing without first finishing a different bachelor's. The catalog measures readiness by your most recent 60 or more credits, which need a 3.0 GPA.

A quick way to sort yourself: with a finished degree in another field, start with the Accelerated BSN; with 60 or more recent credits and the listed general education courses complete, FastTrack is the match; with neither, the Traditional BSN at one of its five campuses is the route. Admissions makes the final call once it reviews your transcripts.

Admission: general education comes first
FastTrack expects much of your groundwork to be done before you start. Keiser's requirements are:
- Your most recent 60 or more college credits at a 3.0 GPA
ENC1101,ENC1102,MAC2105andPSY2012, plus 7 elective credits and 3 humanities credits, at a cumulative 3.00- Science prerequisites with a B or better
- A Wonderlic SLE score of 23
- An interview, a background check and a drug screen
Those English, math and psychology courses count toward the 44 general education credits in the 120-credit degree, and the remaining 76 are nursing. With most general education behind you at entry, the program can compress the nursing major into its four-semester shape.
An accelerated four-semester major
The program page calls it an "Accelerated 4-semester format for nursing major courses", taught on campus one class at a time. The catalog describes the FastTrack and ABSN nursing core the same way, as four 16-week semesters, while Keiser's undergraduate calendar divides every semester into four 4-week terms. How the larger Care Management courses fit inside those terms is not spelled out in Keiser's public documents, so rely on the schedule your campus gives you.
Progress depends on grades as much as time. Every nursing core course has to be passed with at least a B, and your cumulative GPA must hold at 3.0 or above. In a compressed program, repeating a course can push everything after it into a later term, so protect your grades from the first course.
Clinicals at Keiser's partner facilities
FastTrack clinical experiences take place at partner facilities under faculty supervision, according to the program page. Keiser arranges those rotations, and your role is to arrive prepared for each one.
The clinical sequence matches the ABSN's: NUR2032C Care Management I, NUR3219C Care Management II, NUR3411C Care Management III, which centers on children, families, mothers and newborns, and NUR4717C Advanced Care Management, printed at 11 credits in the outline and 13 in its description. Care Management I appears as the fourth nursing course in the FastTrack outline, although the catalog does not label that order as required.
Clinical hour totals for these courses are not published. Ask your campus for each course's clinical calendar as soon as it exists, since rotation days are the fixed points your work and family plans have to fit around.
After FastTrack: RN practice, then graduate study
A FastTrack BSN is also your entry ticket to Keiser's Graduate School. The MSN FNP looks for a BSN with a 3.0 cumulative GPA, an active unrestricted Florida RN license and twelve months or more of recent practice caring for patients, and it switches the clinical model: FNP students locate their own sites and preceptors, and Keiser approves each one.
The easiest time to prepare for that switch is while a program is still placing you. Keep a note of the units, clinicians and specialties you work well with during rotations; those connections can matter when your own search begins. Both run the nursing major in an accelerated four-semester format at the same 13 campuses, and most students finish either one in about 16 months.
Do FastTrack BSN students find their own clinical sites?
No. The program page says clinical experiences take place at Keiser's partner facilities under faculty supervision, so the program arranges them. At Keiser, the student-led search belongs to later programs, above all the MSN FNP, where students identify sites and preceptors and Keiser approves them.
What GPA do I need for Keiser's FastTrack BSN?
A 3.0 on your most recent 60 or more credits, a cumulative 3.00 across the listed general education and prerequisite courses, and a B or better in the science prerequisites. Once you are in, the program asks for a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and a B or better in every nursing core course to keep progressing.
Which campuses offer Keiser's FastTrack BSN?
The same 13 locations that offer the Accelerated BSN, spread from South Florida and the Gulf Coast to Orlando, Melbourne, Lakeland, Tampa and Tallahassee, per the 2026-27 Undergraduate Catalog and the program page. The program is taught on campus, one class at a time, so check which campus is realistic for daily travel.
How long does the FastTrack BSN take?
Most students complete it in 16 months, according to both the catalog and the FastTrack program page. Keiser does not break that figure down publicly, and the general education courses admission requires sit ahead of the nursing major, so ask admissions how your transfer credit fits the timeline.
Does Keiser offer an LPN to RN or LPN to BSN bridge?
Keiser's 2026-27 catalogs list no LPN-to-RN program, and none of the BSN routes is described as an LPN bridge. The pre-licensure options in the catalog are the ASN and the Accelerated, FastTrack and Traditional BSN. Ask admissions how your LPN coursework and college credits would be evaluated against FastTrack's 60-credit and general education requirements.
